You must look ahead to move forward- we couldn’t agree more.

However, sometimes you should look back on the things you’ve done and that goes to private as well as business aspects of life.  You certainly do not want to dwell in the past, but as a part of research and evaluation, it is important to revisit it occasionally, to see how you’ve evolved, changed, overcome various obstacles, what mistakes you’ve made and lessons you’ve learned.

There is one interesting article in Harvard Bussines Review about using a company’s history as a leadership tool, where the authors state that:

a sophisticated understanding of the past is one of the most powerful tools we have for shaping the future

We learn by reflecting on our experience and driven by purpose and passion we strive for new challenges on the road to the limitless polymers.
